happy february! can it be over already?

The miracles of dog grooming. Truman may look like a giant nerd, but at least it's causing me some amusement, because as I finished dinner I realized that I am in a bad mood. There's an inch of hail on the ground outside, and they're calling for twelve-plus inches of snow between now and Sunday. The Comprehensive Exam is tomorrow morning, which is not actually causing me stress, but I would like to get it over with. BER is relatively fine, but I'll feel better when it's uploaded to the ftp site and out of my hands. And tonight I realized that once various dog-grooming and fellowship-reading checks clear, I will have thirty dollars to my name. In a week, I'll receive another paycheck, which I will promptly sign over to my landlord, thus leaving me with thirty dollars to my name for another two weeks. I hope you've enjoyed my company in recent days at dinner nights and various bars, peeps, because apparently I'm not going anywhere or doing anything not-free for the next three weeks.

Excepting, of course, Atlanta, which will be paid for via the miracle of plastics. Plastics - they make it possible. I'm excited about everything: peaches, brothers, Church's and sweet tea, crashing Georgia Tech's campus with Darren and working on theses, aquariums.

Breath. Five more days. If I'm lucky, I can scrounge up a few shifts at the Grizzle's when I get back. Breath.

Breath.
