oh great flaming shitballs you've got to be kidding me.

Today has been a big stupid day of grading and fire drills, and to take a break from grading and reward myself I allowed myself to blog about the fire drill, and the post was lifting my spirits and whatnot. It was mildly amusing and it even had a picture of Patty and Selma in it.

You know where this is going, don't you?

YES. OF COURSE YOU DO. DON'T WE ALL. DIDN'T I, IN THE SPLIT SECOND BETWEEN HITTING "PUBLISH" AND SEEING THE ERROR MESSAGE.

I didn't close a tag and there was an error in publishing and I went to copy the text back into a new post box and all that came up was the URL of the picture of Patty and Selma because that, not the six-paragraph mildly amusing post, was the very last thing I had ctrl-c'd.
