11 random thoughts from today, in no particular order

  1. Skin cancer isn’t really cancer, is it?
  2. I am glad that I bought these heels from Target three years ago, even though I have only worn them three times before today.
  3. I wonder if this is what being an adult is like, and if so, if I like it.
  4. This new hummus flavor of artichoke and lemon isn’t all that impressive.
  5. If I were old people in a nursing home I’d want to pet Truman.
  6. It is pretty awesome that the ad. assistant ordered me a 12-pack of colored fine-tip Sharpies at my request and I don’t have to share them with anyone.
  7. If I weren’t so stupid at math and science I would have really liked to have been a doctor.
  8. When I am lonely I watch reruns of “Scrubs” because it makes me feel better.
  9. If AP and MLA style fought to the death I would want MLA to win.
  10. I wonder if Cliff would like Dan Bern.
  11. Maybe I should write a poem that includes the line “Skin cancer isn’t really cancer.”

  1. Is there a reason you're questioning the actual malignancy of skin cancer? Should I be mildly to moderately concerned?

    Have fun with Rupiper this weekend. Wish I were enjoying gin and slightly disappointing hummus with you.

  2. No worries about the skin cancer. It just seems weird that it has like a 99 percent cure rate.
