4:57 p.m. marks

the beginning of five--count em, five--consecutive days off for this girl. There are friends journeying from MSP, duck breasts to be attempted, Jameson to be drunk, TP to be played, a manuscript to be proofread, movies to be watched, alarm clocks to ignore, and a little white dog who will not know what to do with himself when both Owners are home.

There will not be talk of variable data printing, bank accounts, Beltline rush hours, shared drives, creative briefs, or start-up meetings (unless the aforementioned friends really, really want to hear What I Do).

I'm kicking it off with the best sushi in town and some fancy-pants drinks. I'll raise a lychee martini to you.
