Nor is it a walking boot, as Magritte might argue. And it's a good point. But it is also not a cast. It may be removed for easy bathing and sleeping, and it has a built-in air pump just like those old-school Reeboks of my childhood, and it makes me look a little bit like Darth Vader, and it does not require crutches. And it makes a squishy-Velcro noise when I walk around.
How about that stripey scarf, huh? Pretty jaunty.
