knuckling down

The next few weeks should be a blur of grading, BERing, wrapping gifts, Grizzlebeeing, and thesis-writing. I'm trying to get things in order before the new year begins, and then I'm back to the East for two weeks to enjoy chicken-wing eating, driving alongside drivers who actually know how to drive, the company of family I haven't seen in months and months, lake effect snow, and nights in front of the fireplace with good books and good Scotch. So if you don't hear from me for a while, fear not. I'm just warning you that you maybe shouldn't expect my hilarious, charming company in blog land for a while.

If I forget to say it, let me now: beware white tigers, and may you all have a great season.
