a partial list of everything accomplished in the last fifty hours:

1. drove through eastern Michigan, southwestern Ontario, southeastern Ontario, and familiar corners of WNY;
2. arrived in Buffalo;
3. went shopping with the Angry Vegan and wandered around Urban Outfitters;
4. bought pink plastic flamingos that we stuck in Cliff's backyard;
5. pointed out the flamingos to Cliff;
6. wandered the Burchfield-Penney opening on Elmwood Ave, got henna'd, and had baklava and coffee while overlooking big fat flakes falling on the city;
7. had an old-fashioned sleepover with the AV in the Bert and Ernie beds upstairs at Cliff's house;
8. brunched with my mom at Betty's;
9. got Truman a haircut;
10. cleaned out my last boxes of high school stuff in the basement and relived some much-needed yearbook memories;
11. wandered around Target with Cliff;
12. cleaned out my car;
13. enjoyed running down Kenmore Ave;
14. drank bourbon

You know, it's nice to be home.
